She chronicles that adventure in her new book, “Mercy in the City” and joins Michael Lavigne and Domenico Bettinelli to discuss what inspired her, how it went, the lessons she learned, and the surprises that she encountered. She also discusses her visit to Rwanda in 2013 under the auspices of Catholic Relief Services to understand the role of mercy in the remarkable reconciliation that has happened in the country over the past 20 years.
