The Unbelievable Belief is the ego's thought system to perpetuate conflict. It projects the conflicts outward onto others to avoid seeing it maintains conflict inside of you. Therefore it maintains your belief in it, which is unbelievable. We are the ones giving the ego energy, and trying to "get rid of conflicts" by projecting them outward. We stay busy in order to avoid seeing our inner turmoil. We cannot perpetuate illusions in others without believing them ourselves. The ego is the "unbelievable belief." The past is over and it relies on the past mistakes to give itself reasons for belief. We have a decision to make—accept the Atonement for ourselves and let go of our allegiance to the ego. The ego is unbelievable, and we forgive ourselves for believing in the unbelievable.
