TGOG 2025; #21; SEEING THINGS DIFFERENTLY

SEEING THINGS DIFFERENTLY requires that we be determined to drop our position about something and actually change our minds. This 180 degree turn is not something the ego wants to do. In fact, it resists dropping its position. Would we rather be at peace, or would we rather "be right?" Hanging on to our opinion often means maintaining attack thoughts, irritation, and discontent. Wouldn't we be better off if we let go and admitted we were "wrong." This is what "seeing things differently" entails. We have to drop our position and let in a new perspective that is God’s perspective of perfect Peace.
