Thankfulness Is a Proper Response

Good things are often credited to luck, planning, or cleverness, leaving gratitude with nowhere to go. God called Abram to leave his country, people, and household for a land He had not yet named, and Abram obeyed without keeping a way back. God promised to bless him and give Canaan to his descendants. Abram trusted that promise, travelled through the land, and built altars to remember God's grace and worship Him.
