Thanksgiving and Prayer

Join me this morning as I share with you and encourage you to trust God in this season that we are living in, not only in our Nation, but in our personal life. We must allow the Holy Spirit to work in us so that we can work out our Salvation. The Word of God says that, Today is the Day of Salvation. Whatever you are going through and dealing with, God has already made a way for you to come through it. He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price that you and I will never have to pay. But in order to receive what our Heavenly Father has for you, you must be willing to die to self. What do I mean by that? When you were born-again, you gave up your own rights. You were bought with a price. And remember, you won't ever have to pay that price because Jesus Christ did. But you will have to give up your mind, will and emotions to take on the character of God. So, in a sense, it's going to cost you something, but you don't pay for it, you give up your right. Do you get it? You willingly give up your right to think the way you want to and bring your mind into alignment with the Word of God. You give up what you want to do to do His will. You give up your emotions and take on the fruit of the Spirit. That is called taking up your cross and dying to self. Holy Spirit will help you if you ask Him. Press into God today and every day, doing everything His way because there's no other way, but to trust and obey!
