Thanksgiving and Prayer

The Holy Bible says in Matthew, chapter five...verse six....that those who hunber and thirst after righteousness would be filled. Is that you? Do you hunger for God and the things of Heaven? Or do you hunger after the things of this world and what is your way? We learn in the Word of God, that Jesus at a very early age, 12 years old, hungered for the things of the Spirit of God. The wisdom at this age was far beyond that of some of the most godly leaders in Jerusalem at that time. Even His parents were in awe of the wisdom that He had! It's amazing to read in the book of Luke, chapter 2 that they looked three days for Jesus and finally found Him in the temple courts, sittiing with the teachers. He was asking questions and also answering questions that they were amazed to hear His responses. Jesus hungered for the things of God. I love what He said to His mother when she asked why He treated them like this. He answered her with a question, "Don't you know that I had to be busy about My Father's business?"  Will you get busy about the Father's business? Let Holy Spirit lead you and guide you in this season to learn at the feet of Jesus.
