thanksGIVINGback 2023 with Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry
from Town of Avon Indiana - The Podcast · host Avon Indiana Government
More information can be found at avonindiana.gov/thanksgivingback On Wednesday, November 15th, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Avon Town Hall will become a drive-through drop-off location for the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry in Avon, Indiana. Serving hundreds of families each week, the Town of Avon is helping them "Break the Bank" on the 15th. The 16th of November is the final day the pantry is open before Thanksgiving. Because of this, MLM typically goes through more food than any other week. We want to work with the community to help them receive so much donated food that they can supply those families in need with more than enough food for the entire holiday season. All you need to do is arrive between 8 am and 4:30 pm on Wednesday the 15th, pull around the front of our Town Hall, and staff will remove all the food you bring. Please place it in bags, in boxes, in totes, or whatever you have. We will then load up our trucks, and each time we have a full load, we will take it over and drop it off at the pantry.
