Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: INSPIRATION: There appears to be a big misconception of the identity of Jesus, as it then was, and now is. Whilst, He's known as Joseph's son, the Carpenter, Jesus of Nazareth, son of David, etc, people could only relate to His earthly identity but not His deity. Hardly was He seen as God or the Son of God! It is against this background of poor perception that people related to Him, and missed out greatly from miracles that knowing Him properly could have made easy! The grace that you despise won't work for you! But, I digress! Jesus reminds Martha of His true identity: the resurrection and life! Nothing dies in His hands. Even already dead things come back alive because He's the life-giving Spirit! No matter what's dying around you; it's hopelessness is no barrier to the almightiness of Jesus! He'll make it come back alive! First, He raised the dead, and He, too, got raised from the dead, as a witness to you that He possesses the powers to make dying and already dead things come alive. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Catch the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead! You can do so much when your spirit is on fire with it🔥! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please release upon me afresh the grace and the spirit that raised Christ from the dead and cause me to be a miracle working tool in Your hands to bring dead and dying things back to life. I receive this grace without measure and function effectively in this office, in Jesus name.
