That Stinks. Literally.

I’ve always had the olfactory sense of a Bloodhound. I’d probably have made a superb “nose” for a French perfume company. Having an acute sense of smell is both blessing and curse - it also holds one secret to my masterful skills with dogs and turns out opened up pretty interesting insights about interactions between people. With the sense of smell being one of (if not THE) most important link to memory, what happens when a place (or person) smells, to put it simply, like sh*t? Turns out that soothing the proboscis can soothe the experience of a place or person. I learned this first hand running a dog facility that was marked by several unique qualities - among the most notable and noticed, it didn’t smell like dogs. This week’s episode explores this experience, takes it into the woods and of course to people.
