Series Title: 1 John Series Summary: This series is about 1 John, letters written to churches in the area of modern day Turkey. Through his letters to the church, John helps us focus on loving God, other people (one another) and addresses false teaching that deviates from what he taught his disciples regarding sin and that Jesus wasn't a man or God. Passages: 1 John 5:13-21 In this session, John closes his letters to the church focused on assurance (confidence about God's character, promises, answers prayer, etc.), clarity regarding sin and Jesus is bigger than our sin, and keep yourselves from idols.
