If we are only viewing the gospel as a way to avoid hell, then we are diminishing the full power and love that Jesus displayed on the cross // Heaven is a promise, but it's not the only gift of the gospel

'For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit.' - 1 Peter 3:18

The point of the gospel is that you now have full access to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The God of the Universe desires to be close to you, and this is the gift we can experience here on earth 🙏
