The first of a 3-part look at Mitchell's 4th Infantry Brigade. These were the Peasant Boys, fresh from the plough of the fields of central England. Formed in 1813, they were the only British unit at Waterloo who had not seen action before. Positioned on the far west of the Allied line, this is the story of their baptism of fire, and what became of these lads in the decades that followed.
