The 2 Become 1

from Upfront & Undivided

When two people get married, they get a new identity. That comes with starting a new family, new traditions, and a new culture. It might seem a bit crazy to go against tradition, especially now that it is the Holiday season of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. This is what happens though. As a married couple, starting our own family, we had the opportunity to sit and talk about what we wanted our family traditions to look and sound like. We took the good and the bad of our families from growing up, and had a "Keep or Toss" conversation. We learned that those conversations keep happening throughout our marriage, in every season. Our lives will change, and our traditions get to change with them.So what traditions would you like to start, keep, or change in your marriage and family? Have a listen, and let us know what you think.Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
