The 2026 Dallas Cowboys Rookie Minicamp Kickoff

The Dallas Cowboys have officially launched their three-day rookie minicamp at The Star in Frisco to prepare their newest players for the upcoming season. High-profile draft picks Caleb Downs and Malachi Lawrence joined a group of drafted and undrafted athletes to receive equipment and begin preliminary on-field instruction. Defensive coordinator Christian Parker and head coach Brian Schottenheimer used the sessions to emphasize player versatility and high-energy performance. These early drills serve as a critical acclimation period for the rookies before they transition to practicing alongside established veterans. By investing in this new talent, the organization aims to reverse a two-year playoff drought and strengthen the overall roster. This event marks the first formal step in the team's journey toward the 2026 NFL season.
