Overall, our panelists seemed to like his platform, particularly his stance towards mental health. They also liked his in-depth experience and knowledge of the job requirements. They questioned, though, his ability to be effective, given his close proximity to the scandal-laden current administration, and questioned that, with his position of influence in the Sheriff’s office, why his laudable goals were not achieved already.
