Pastor Tim Richards returns to The 2nd Scroll Series, looking at Acts 15:1-41.   Sermon Questions: 1. Have you ever been in a church when there was significant conflict between members? What happened? How did things resolve? 2. Does it surprise you that the issue of observing Jewish laws became a big deal with the mixed Gentile/Jewish church community after all God had done through the Holy Spirit to demonstrate both groups were loved and accepted by Him in Jesus? Why or why not? 3. Luke’s account in the book of Acts covers many years of history. As a result, he had to pick and choose which events he wrote down. Why do you think he chose to record these two conflicts rather than just skipping over them for happier stories? 4. What principles do you see in Acts 15 that you find helpful in thinking through handling conflict in your own life?
