The 3 C’s For Coping With Stressful Times
from Happy & Healthy with Amy · host Amy Lang
In this episode, Amy Lang reviews the 3 C’s for coping with these stressful chaotic times. When you learn how to control what you can, cope with what you can't and concentrate on what truly matters, you are focused on taking consistent action which will help you create the life you want. Two beliefs she examines are 1) asking for help is a sign of weakness and 2) self-care is selfish. Neither one of these helps to move us closer to our goals, and we reframe them to evoke a stress response that shifts from one of suffering and overwhelm to one of resourcefulness and energy. Note: In light of all the recent events as a consequence of the COVID-19 outbreak and the horrifying death of George Floyd, AND because human connection and community are so vital to our sense of well being, I've started a private Facebook Group: Moxie Club Meetup. It's completely free. Let's support each other and we will emerge on the other side of this stronger than ever. Click here to join the group.
