 What are the 3 types of trauma? Today I talk about the most well know type trauma. This comes from the work of Gabor Mate who is one of the world's leading voices on trauma. The first one is shock trauma. What is shock trauma? I give some examples of what shock trauma is and I also quote some of the words of Bessel Van der Kolk from The Body Keeps the Score and Peter Levine from his book Healing Trauma. Next week I will talk about developmental trauma and the week after that about attachment trauma.
