The 30: The Lakers report for training camp and are preaching patience. Kyle Kuzma's importance to the Lakers success, plus preseason predictions for how both conferences will shake out. With Sportsnet 650's Marcus Fitzgerald.

In this episode, Jas is joined by Sportsnet 650 reporter and anchor, Marcus Fitzgerald. With the Lakers kicking off training camp, the guys discuss head coach Frank Vogel preaching patience, especially early in the season. Following that, they get into Kyle Kuzma's injury and how it impacts the team. Marcus and Jase share their thoughts on how important it is for the team to get off to a fast start to take advantage of a soft schedule and how they can mitigate Kuzma's loss. They then give their predictions for how things will play out in both the eastern and western conferences and where the Lakers fit into the playoff picture. To wrap things up, Marcus and Jas talk about Alex Caruso and what expectations are for him this year, plus how the lineup combinations will be setup by Vogel.  Learn more about your ad choices.
