Psalm 145:1-12 - I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your saints shall bless you! They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Praise God for who He is Consider why he matters to us Recognize sinful results for missing Him React by properly aligning our lives to Him God is Great! 1 Preeminent in Position Higher than us - Isaiah 55:9 - His ways are higher than our ways -     For as the heavens are higher than the earth,     so are my ways higher than your ways     and my thoughts than your thoughts. Higher than priests - Hebrews 10:21 - Great Priest - and since we have a great priest over the house of God Higher than gods - Psalm 95:3, 135:5 - Above all gods - For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods Superior in Character Love - I John 3:1 - See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him Faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22-23 - The steadfast love of the Lordnever ceases;his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness Patience - Romans 9:22 - What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction Mercy - Nehemiah 9:31 - Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God Righteousness - Job 37:23 - The Almighty—we cannot find him; he is great in power;justice and abundant righteousness he will      not violate Judgments - Psalm 36:6 - Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O Lord Powerful in Ability Power of Nature & Kingdoms - Exodus 18:11 - Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods, because in this affair they dealt arrogantly with the people Power of Life & Death - Ephesians 1:18-20 - having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places Power of Creation - Romans 1:20 - For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
