The 7 Seals - Zooming Out To See The Big Picture

We stepped back to take another look at the 6th seal and realized that we were seeing a big picture emerge. Everything that happens on earth is described in the seals. The 6th seemed out of place until we realized it shows natural events like earthquakes and volcanos that are not under the control of man. That allowed another look at seal 7 and 8 through the same lens. Altogether we have Man, the spiritual realm, the environment and God all playing a role - both historically and right up to the end.  I'm a deep dive kind of person. I want to know stuff and as soon as I learn it, I want to show it to other people. Some people don't need the details, and I have to respect that. Actually, I really respect that. Those people can look at all these rabbit holes I go down and just say "I have faith that God will carry me through; I don't need to know the details of how he does it."  Honestly, I don't think I need to know the details either. I LIKE knowing the details. It deepens my faith in understanding. It increases the awe and the reverence I have for this miracle we hold in our hands. In the end, it may be a distinction without a difference, right? At the end of the day, we both get saved.  But still, if you just want the big picture of the 7 seals in revelation it's this: The scroll with the 7 seals is in the hand of Jesus. And perhaps the only question you need to ask comes from Chapter 7 (before the 7th seal is opened). Are you sealed?
