" 📚 Daniel 9:22 KJV Before we actually get into the interpretation, can we talk about the importance of this prophecy and the major flaws with the Futurist interpretation of the prophecy? Bible translations are created using a method on the specturm from word for word (KJV) or thought for throught (The Message). Word for word means each word was translated as is to create the translate; this can sometimes be hard to read because the linguistics don't transfer from language to language. Thought for thought is when a phrase or thought is translated instead. This allows the translator to create smoother sentences, however it also requires the translator to interjet their interpretation of the passage into the translation. The Message is about as far on the thought for thought spectrum as you can go. There's alot added in (and possibly take out). It's just not a reliable translation. 2. Major Schools of Thought on Interpreting Prophecy -- PSALMS to God -- December 16, 2023 3.
