Consumer discretionary and consumer staples were the obvious beneficiaries, with both up 1.9%. Macquarie's upgrade of ANZ (up 2.4%) and Westpac (up 2.6%) allowed CBA and NAB to hitch a ride, up 2.2% and 2% respectively.
