It all starts about 13 years ago, with myself sitting criss-cross applesauce on the floor of my first apartment, playing Halo 3 multiplayer surrounded by my best bros. One of them, RonG took the aux of my boombox positioned below the TV and played what would turn out to be my favorite song and artist for over a decade to come. RonG played the demo version of BTSTU by Jai Paul. Immediately it became the song of my summer and really my life, I never stopped playing it. I played it on road trips, when I'm celebrating, when I'm sad. I played it at the hang out part of my brother's wedding. This album actually changed my life and makes me happy. Jai Paul only has 60K followers on Instagram and as much as I'd like to say that's a travesty.. Please don't follow Jai Paul on Instagram. Like it matters, he's a mystery in the dark in radio silence. BUT when he does pop out and show.. It's always perfect and hilarious. Not like I'm a renaissance man or anything but I rarely am jealous of other people's creative juices, but by golly.. Jai Paul is one of those people.
