It's free and very enlightening. Many of you have asked, “is a low carb diet safe for diabetes?” The answer is yes. In fact, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) now acknowledges that the low-carb diet is beneficial for type 2 diabetes.  “Reducing overall carbohydrate intake for individuals with diabetes has demonstrated the most evidence for improving glycemia and may be applied in a variety of eating patterns that meet individual needs and preferences.” The only problem is that they didn’t define what a good low-carb diet is. The ADA recommends somewhere around 40% carbohydrates, which is still far too high (it should be around 5%). As you probably know by now, I recommend a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting to keep blood sugars under control.  If you’ve been waiting for the ADA to approve keto before you started, now is the time to begin.
