The Affection of Christ Jesus

From Saul to Paul.  From persecuting the Church to dying for it.  St. Paul's magnificent conversion and transformation is highlighted by the deep mystical encounters he had with Christ...even to the point of writing explicitly of "the affection of Christ Jesus." (Phil 1:8)  At the well of prayer on our Advent journey, we experience this affection that makes our hearts burn for life in Christ and with Christ Jesus...
