The African paradox

from The Infinitely Me Podcast

The past few weeks have seen global mobilization of Nigerians and Panafaricanist take to the streets while protesting against police brutality. The trending hashtag #ENDSARSNOW has started a revolution towards disbanding the special anti Robbery squad. This unit that was formed in 2017 has been using excessive force on its people. There have been reports of people profiling based on their dress code and as crazy as this may sound (using an iPhone as your preferred cellphone of choice) yes you read that right. In this episode, I take you through a few African countries as I compare the key issues that affect us as a continent. For Africa to thrive, these cancerous systemic patterns in corruption, police brutality, greed, etc has to come to an end. I challenge you the listener, in playing your role towards effecting change.
