Google is build huge wireless networks across Africa using high-altitude balloons and blimps,putting together an ecosystem of low-cost smartphones running Android on low-power microprocessors. Rather than traditional infrastructure, Google's signal will be carried by high-altitude platforms - balloons and blimps - that can transmit to areas of hundreds of square The "Rlg-Adulawo Technology City" is a state of the art assembling plant located on the Illesha Akure Express Way, in Nigeria. The plant has the capacity of to assemble of 5,000 mobile phones and 2,500 computers, per day, making a minimum of 7,500 devices in a day. In Africa, Google has added Somali, Zulu, and the three major languages of Nigeria. Smartphone sales in Egypt are expected to nearly double to 32 percent of all handsets sold by 2016, according to a recent report from Pyramid Research. World Affinity Telecom in Sierra WiFi, are leveraging a state-of-the-art fibre network within Sierra Leone to provide wireless broadband services.
