The agony of discipleship

Jesus says his disciples need to "make every effort" (agonize) to enter through the narrow door. As difficult as that is for our sinful, human natures that want us to trust in ourselves, we have to leave our own goodness at the door and cling to Christ's goodness alone for our way in. This sermon based on Luke 12:22-30 was preached on August 24, 2025 for a sermon series called, "The Cost of Living."
