It’s been less than a year since cybersecurity expert Byron Tomes was last on the podcast, but a lot has happened since then. Two major developments have been the ongoing friction between the Trump administration and first Anthropic and now Open AI as the dueling AI giants push the expanding capabilities of their frontier models out past what may or may not be ethically wise.
