In this week’s show we have a special guest Jason Haxton a resident of Kirksville Missouri who has been involved in supporting the Amish community in his area.We discussed the world of this 17th century Christian sect which doctrine is to stay separated from the modern world and to dress and live like their ancestors to honor their teachings.We learned about their history, what is known as Amish insurance, the religion in their community, their view of modesty, the role of women, pacifism, Ordnung and their relation to the Dutch Mennonite church.Mystic-Skeptic Radio produces programs such as Uncensored & Raiders of the Unknown.
