Luke 1:30–31   But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31  You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. (NIV) Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (NIV) Hebrews 6:18–19 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie.
