The Answer Is Closer Than You Think

Have you ever asked God for help but kept searching for the answer in your own strength? “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).I once misplaced very important papers and couldn’t find them anywhere. I kept praying, “Holy Spirit, show me where they are,” but I was still relying on my memory. In a quiet moment, He prompted me to check the back of my planner—and there they were.It made me laugh because what I needed was never far away. Just like God’s Word—“The word is very near you”(Romans 10:8).Don’t rush ahead of God searching everywhere else for answers. Ask, believe, and be still enough to hear Him. The answer may be closer than you think.
