The protestant Bible we have now contains 66 books, but there are also other Bibles that have more books in the Old Testament. These Scriptures are canonical in the Catholic and the Orthodox Church. They contain valuable insights, stories and wisdom that every Christian should know. What is the reason for different canonical collections of the Holy Scriptures and what can be found in them? This is the introduction to a new series where we will explore the Apokrypha of the Bible.
