The Architect - Southern Vangard Radio Interview Sessions
from Southern Vangard Hosted by DJ Jon Doe and Eddie Meeks
BANG! @southernvangard #radio presents The Architect interview session! We’re longtime fans (when we say longtime we mean the 90s) of this Bay Area producer here at Southern Vangard Radio and have been playing numerous joints he’s been behind the boards on since the show started. When we bumped into him at A3C last year alongside Opio and Pep Love, we had no idea he was about to wrap up 2017 with a boat load of new material, with an eye on doing the same in 2018. We hear about his new work with Byrd Land, Cochise & Killa Kali, his outlook on the game today and working new young gunners like Kung Fuu. We also get into some DEEP Bay Area hip-hop history, including early days in Milpitas, CA with the one and only Charizma (RIP) & Peanut Butter Wolf, his first big break with Coolio and why folks made pilgrimages to The Architect's house when he scored his first sampler. The train don’t stop ya’ll, so get on board, sit back, press play and tune in to that #smithsonian #grade #twiceaweek // southernvangard.com // @southernvangard on #applepodcast #stitcherradio #soundcloud #mixcloud // #hiphop #rap #undergroundhiphop #DJ #mix #interview #podcasts #ATL #WORLDWIDE Recorded live January 29, 2018 @ Dirty Blanket Studios, Marietta, GA southernvangard.com @southernvangard on #applepodcasts #stitcherradio #soundcloud #mixcloud twitter/IG: @jondoeatl @southernvangard @cappuccinomeeks
