Arteta was forced to make some changes following a fresh injury blow to Partey. The response to the midweek defeat to Crystal Palace wasn’t the one fans expected following a poor opening 20 minute spell which eventually saw us concede. The football didn’t flow right and Arsenal were sloppy and flat when in possession. The second goal was the final nail in the coffin as Brighton played the majority of the second half in a composed defensive shape. Odegaard’s late wonder strike did inject some hope into the players as they left it too late.
