Welcome to The Arsenal Therapy Podcast, a dedicated show about a club I love, Arsenal Football Club. Arsenal passed their first test of a tough run of games coming up with a fantastic victory against Southampton. Despite being beaten by the better side on the weekend, Arsenal proved today that they are capable of playing beautiful attacking football with high intensity. This was a Mikel Arteta masterclass where he schooled Southampton at their own game. It was end-to-end from the very beginning of the game with 2 early goals and the game continued to play out with the high intensity and high press from both sides. However, at the end of both halves, Arsenal were the better side with some standout performances from the likes of Cedric, Partey, Xhaka Pepe, Saka, Emile Smith-Rowe and Lacazette.
