His background is primarily in visual arts, with a BFA from ASU and MFA from UNC-CH. His professional work has varied from studio practice, galleries and museums to building and academic positions. Recent turns have led him to in-depth studies in psychedelic therapies, dream studies and end of life care. He completed the Death Doula Program at the Center for Conscious Living and Dying in Swannanoa, NC.
