Self-preservation: is defined as the instinct to act in your own best interest to protect yourself and ensure your own survival. When you put yourself last, there are consequences. If you do not learn to master the art of self-preservation, you will eventually suffer physically, emotionally, spiritually, or mentally. And the worse suffering of all, you will live a life regretting the things you SHOULD have done. They say when we get to the end of our lives, we will regret not the things we have done, but we regret the things we SHOULD have done.
