The Art of Tapering benzodiazepines, antidepressants, antipsychotics. Psychiatric medication .This is not medical advice of clinical support.I am sharing lived experience from having to learn how to taper off 3 medications after getting harmed by one. I have followed people I trust who have also gone through this, and over these years been through all the pit falls, learnt the hard way, determine to heal and be free I press on. To release shame around this and to shine a light on how important it is for some people to taper like this. It is in fact life saving. I know some can take these medications no problem and stop taking them no problem, however there is also people who really struggle with adverse reactions and find it really hard coming off. With the slow tapering, with water or weighing on scales, people can get off safely.
