Preaching has come under severe attack from without the church and, sadly, within the church. It seems every generation must contend, not just for the faith once delivered to the saints, but also for the integrity and purity of preaching. Preaching is the main work of the church, and if the enemy can dilute the proclamation of God’s word, he can kill the church’s fruitfulness.
