The Aviator (2004)

Send us Fan Mail This week, the lads take to the skies with Martin Scorsese’s glossy, obsessive, beautifully unhinged epic The Aviator. We dive into Leonardo DiCaprio’s electric turn as Howard Hughes — aviation pioneer, Hollywood mogul, germaphobe extraordinaire — and explore everything from the Spruce Goose to milk bottles without losing cabin pressure. It’s big, it’s bold, it’s a little OCD-coded, and it might cause you to shout “Show me all the blueprints!” at wildly inappropriate times. Buckle up — we’re going flying. The way of the future, the way of the future, the way of… you get it. Hosted by Tage Sickler, Derek Wehrman, and Steve Teasdale. Theme song and incidental music composed and performed by Steve Teasdale. Please rate and review our show wherever you listen.
