The B-Critics Classics - Spider-Man

Hello fellow B-Listers! Welcome to The B-Critics Podcast with Elizabeth Arnold and Courtney Thompson. This week The B-Critics bring on guest critic Ross Mulkerrin to discuss the OG Spider-Man movie! Sam Raimi, American filmmaker best known for thrasher horror films, absolutely SLAYED in his portrayal of the Stan Lee comic. We think so, the critics think so, the public thinks so. Liz and Court even think that Tobey Maguire is the BEST Spider-Man, but the jury is still out on that opinion. Willem Dafoe and J.K. Simmons get shouts for their magnificent supporting roles, and Sam Raimi gets credit for some pretty amazing fight scenes. If you’ve been looking for a reason to re-watch (or watch for the first time) Spider-Man, here’s all the ammunition you need!
