The Brians return for a recap of Week 8 in College Football which saw multiple Top 10 teams go down. None bigger than Penn State losing in 9OTs to Illinois in Happy Valley. The guys dive into Bert's big win and what it means for Penn State. Elsewhere, Oklahoma State and Iowa State played a sensational game that saw the Cyclones come out on top thanks to a big game from Brock Purdy. The Pokes are still alive in the Big 12 title race but need to win Bedlam now. Oregon wins a high-scoring affair with UCLA to keep pace with Oregon State in the Pac-12 North. Coastal falls to App State on Wednesday night ending their run at a New Years' Six bowl game.  In other Week 8 news, Nick Rolovich has been fired by Washington State for not getting the Covid vaccine per a Washington state employee mandate. The Brians give their quick thoughts before jumping into real football news with Matt Wells being fired by Texas Tech. The guys also discuss where these two jobs stand in the national landscape.  Looking ahead to Week 9 there are three ranked games this week with a pair coming in the Big Ten. The guys preview Penn State-Ohio State, Michigan-Michigan State, and Ole Miss-Auburn as there are major playoff and conference title implications on the line in these games.
