The Balance Between Surrender & Strength (Beshalach) | Land of Israel Fellowship

👉 Join our weekly fellowship and walk this faith journey with us: https://thelandofisrael.com/membership-tiers/ In this heartfelt teaching from the Land of Israel Fellowship, Ari Abramowitz and Jeremy Gimpel reflect on what it means to live with faith in uncertain times, drawing lessons from the manna in the wilderness, the Exodus, and the realities of life today. Living on the Judean frontier, we share how daily challenges like power outages, water shortages, and ongoing security threats mirror the spiritual training Hashem gave Israel in the desert: learning to trust God’s daily provision and release the illusion of control. We explore a powerful Torah insight known as the Pakod Code of Redemption, tracing it from Joseph’s final words in Egypt, through Moses at the burning bush, and into modern events in Israel, including the return of fallen soldiers. These moments reveal how redemption becomes real when God’s promises meet human responsibility. Through prayer and community reflection, we lift up the needs of our fellowship and celebrate the unity formed through faith and love for Hashem. Finally, we dive into Parshat Beshalach to unpack the deep relationship between hishtadlut (human effort) and hachna’ah (surrender). Through the courage of Nachshon stepping into the sea, we learn that true action flows from faith and that surrender often leads to bold movement forward. This teaching encourages us to silence fear, strengthen trust, and walk forward together even when we don’t yet see the path.
