Based on a true story, 'The Banker' is a monumental picture of two Black men in the Jim Crow Era, that set out to defy all odds and go against the grain of racial prejudice and bigotry to achieve equality in owning property. Little did they know their actions would implement and change laws allowing access to housing no matter the race or ethnicity. Becoming an owner today as we know it could be a lot different if not for the heroic and courageous actions of just two individuals who sought out fairness and equality.
