The Baptism of Jesus. Mark chapter 1

Mark starts off this New Testament Gospel with the events of John the Baptist. John was the forerunner. He preached the coming of Jesus Christ. John baptized Jesus in the Jordan River. Jesus begins the preaching of the gospel of God in Galilee. Jesus begins preaching in the synagogues, where He casted out an unclean spirit in man. Jesus heals so many that He had to go to the outer limits of town to rest.
