On the September 2nd episode of Smackdown, Corbin entered what seemed to be JBL's limousine and was off television for a little bit. On the Oct. 17th episode of Monday Night Raw, he made his return after being introduced by JBL! In addition, JBL labeled him as the "modern-day wrestling God" before Corbin defeated Dolph Ziggler.
