The Batman Part II' Releases First Camera Test Footage, But Delays Release to 2028Warner Bros. and director Matt Reeves have delivered a bittersweet update for fans eagerly awaiting The Batman Part II. On the positive side, Reeves shared the very first atmospheric camera test footage for the sequel, offering a moody, red-bathed glimpse of Robert Pattinson returning to the cape and cowl (reminiscent of how the director first revealed the suit for the 2022 film). However, the exciting sneak peek was accompanied by some major, disappointing scheduling news: the highly anticipated DC Elseworlds sequel has been significantly delayed. Originally slated for an October 2026 release, the film has been pushed back two full years and is now officially scheduled to hit theaters in 2028.
