The battle to reduce pedestrian vehicle deaths continues

More than 6 thousand 700 lives were lost last year in the U.S. when pedestrians were struck. While the overall numbers have shown some improvement…nearly half of all states are still moving in the wrong direction. The Governors Highway Safety Association is working to raise awareness. The Association’s Adam Snider…“Speeding is a huge factor. Distracted driving is a major road safety concern. Any of the dangerous driving behaviors that we see, unfortunately, are incredibly dangerous, magnified untold number of times for pedestrians, bicyclists and other vulnerable road users.”The association is partnering with StateFarm.com to provide info and hopefully to continue to bring the numbers down.You can find us at Techstination.com.
